Overview
We are currently looking to expand our capability by hiring experienced producers nationwide. This highly visible role is responsible for building lasting relationships with retail agencies and carriers to design customized solutions for insureds. The primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth by developing an individual book of business.

Responsibilities
As an experienced producer, your ability to earn is dependent upon your ability to grow your business.  Your success will be come from cold calling new agents, leveraging current relationships to build new ones, and conducting agency visit to develop personal connections.  You will cultivate deep relationships with your retail agents as they will see you as the expert to find and develop tailored offerings for their policyholders.
 
Additionally, you'll have strong relationships with your carriers, knowing their underwriting contacts, and specifics of the appetites and markets serve. Negotiating the best terms and conditions and cross-selling come natural to you! 
 
You will also, have an ability to grow and manage your support team.  Being keenly aware that renewals and on-going servicing are critical to keeping your business, you will provide effective mentoring, support and direction to your customer service staff.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience selling commercial and/or personal lines insurance solutions in at least one of the following areas: property and casualty, professional and financial lines, excess and surplus, workers’ compensation.  You must be able to demonstrate success in growing an individual book of business.  Experience working for a wholesale broker or MGA is preferred but not required.  Additionally, a P&C license is required.
