PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

All-risk mortality, deductible mortality, and limited mortality options

If a breeder’s top-performing show horse were to suffer a sudden illness and require euthanasia, All-Risk Mortality Coverage would provide financial compensation for the horse’s full value. This would allow the breeder to reinvest in their program without experiencing a major financial setback.

Limited theft (excludes mysterious disappearance)

If a rancher’s prize-winning bull were reported to authorities stolen with supporting evidence , Limited Theft Coverage would help reimburse the rancher for the bull’s market value, minimizing the financial impact of the loss.

Humane destruction

If a jumping horse sustained a catastrophic leg fracture during a competition and could not be saved, Humane Destruction Coverage would ensure the owner is compensated for their loss .

Emergency colic surgery and medical colic expense

If a high-value dressage horse developed a severe case of colic requiring immediate surgery, Emergency Colic Surgery Coverage would help partially recover  $5,000 of the procedure cost, minimizing the owner’s  financial impact.

Major medical and surgery-only options

If a breeding stallion required extensive veterinary care after an infection, Major Medical Coverage would help pay for diagnostics, treatment, hospitalization, and recovery. Without coverage, the owner could be left with significant out-of-pocket expenses.

Stallion infertility, loss of use options

If a valuable breeding stallion became infertile due to an sickness, accident, or disease, Stallion Infertility Coverage would provide financial compensation for the lost breeding income, helping the owner recover their investment.

Barrenness/prospective foal

If a mare expected to produce a high-value foal failed to conceive, or aborted or foal failed to survive post foaling, Barrenness Coverage could help compensate the breeder for lost breeding costs, ensuring their program remains financially stable.

International transit and world-wide coverage extensions

International Transit provides destruction coverage for animals being imported or exported becoming uncontrollable and requiring to be put down in order to save an aircraft and crew. World-Wide coverage extends policy territory to include Company approved foreign territory and policy coverages to be continued in that territory.

Nationwide except AK & HI

If a breeder chose to castrate or choses to deal with a cosmetic issue of an animal , Elective Surgery Coverage would help protect against general anesthesia death , helping the owner to recover their investment.

Target Classes

Show, breeding, sport, rodeo, pleasure equine (no racing)

Coverage is available for horses used in competitive events, breeding programs, rodeo performances, and recreational riding. This includes disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, reining, cutting, and rodeo stock. Racing horses are excluded from coverage.

Cow/calf, breeding, and show cattle

This category includes beef cattle operations, dairy breeding stock, and show cattle raised for competitive exhibitions or breeding programs. Coverage helps protect against mortality.

Bucking cattle

Designed for bucking bulls used in rodeos and competitive events, this coverage ensures that high-value stock animals are protected against injuries, illness, and accidental death losses that could impact their competitive careers.

4-H and FFA project equine, cattle, and sheep

Coverage for youth agriculture program participants who raise animals for county fairs, livestock exhibitions, and educational projects. These animals are often short-term investments for students and require specialized protection.
