Our midwife insurance program is designed for licensed midwives, birth centers, and medical professionals practicing in home, center, or hospital settings. We accept solo and group practices across the U.S.

Does this plan include tail coverage?

Yes. An extended reporting endorsement (tail coverage) is included at no additional cost in cases of death, retirement, or permanent disability after five years of continuous coverage. Unlimited tail coverage is also available for other cases at 150% of the annual premium.

Is disciplinary or license protection included?

Yes. Our midwife malpractice insurance includes coverage for disciplinary actions and license investigations to help protect your professional standing.

Does the plan cover VBAC or hospital births?

Yes. The plan includes versatile birth coverage across all settings including homes, birthing centers, and hospitals, and supports VBACs in hospital and birth center environments.

Midwives retiring, facing permanent disability, or in the event of death, receive an Extended Reporting Endorsement at no additional cost, provided there was continuous coverage for the prior five years. An Unlimited Tail option is available at a reasonable cost (150% of the annual premium) for coverage termination for any other reason, ensuring lasting peace of mind.
